You may occasionally notice that a recipe in your Meal Plan shows more servings than the number you selected in your Settings. This is usually because the recipe is being prepared for more than one meal.
When a recipe is scheduled as a planned leftover later in the week, the original recipe automatically includes the additional servings you'll need for those future meals.
For Example
If you're preparing dinner for 4 people and the same recipe is planned as leftovers for another dinner for 4, the original recipe may show 8 servings.
This allows you to prepare everything at once and save the extra servings for the planned leftover meal.
You don't need to manually increase the recipe servings. The Meal Plan takes the planned leftovers into account, and your Shopping List uses the servings needed across your planned meals when calculating ingredient quantities.
If the Servings Still Look Wrong
If the serving count doesn't make sense based on the meals and leftovers in your plan, you can try Reset on your Meal Plan. In some cases, resetting the plan can correct unexpected serving quantities.
Important: Resetting your Meal Plan returns the current week to its original version and removes the customizations you've made to that week. This action cannot be undone.
If the serving count or ingredient quantities still don't look right after resetting, please contact Support so we can take a closer look.
